AE&E is fully committed developing its staff to such levels that they can function in integrated teams as well as work independently to their full potential. Training does not only focus on technical events, but also on ‘soft skills’ such as communication and English presentation and report writing skills.


AE&E training program not only includes classroom teaching, but also incorporates on-the-job coaching. AE&E routinely invites industry well-known experts to set up technical seminars on various topics and encourages young professionals to question and learn. Staff are also sent to different institutes and conferences domestically and internationally to improve their practical skills and broaden their horizons. The annual AE&E’s “Innovation Competition Cup” stimulates new ideas to improve current methodologies and to help young engineers to grow their capacities.


AE&E is committed to promote the development of the discipline of Geomicrobiology and its technologies. AE&E works with international organizations, universities such as EAGE, China Petroleum University, China University of Geosciences CNOOC etc. to provide short courses, lectures or workshops to share our experience and best practices in MGCE and 4G exploration application. In the past years, AE&E organized many workshops with China Geological Survey Bureau, Petrochina and Sinopec as well as participating in many industry technical seminars and conferences to share with oil companies on the applications and latest developments on microbial geochemical exploration.
